Breathe Essentials Co. started when the founder, Charlene, found physical and mental relief in essential oils whilst she was going through chemotherapy. This spurred her to create Breathe Essentials, a premium lifestyle brand that would bring accessible, homegrown essential oils and scented candles to those who would need them. She approached me to create the brand’s identity, packaging and several print collaterals for it’s launch.
Design process–
After hearing Charlene’s story, I knew Breathe Essentials Co. would embody gentle, approachable and soothing aesthetic. We chose Everett and Decima Mono typeface for a slightly clinical and light look. The brand’s identity comes in 2 different forms of logo and a customised ‘BE’ anagram. The colour palette comprises of feminine and nature inspired tones. Lastly, hand-drawn illustrative mountains adds as a decorative element for promotional collaterals such like PR kit, greeting cards etc.
